Nancy Purdy most recently served as the Associate Vice President of Academic Initiatives at Finger Lakes Community College.  She  developed certificate and degree  programs. Additionally, she was responsible for campus centers, online learning and college programs in the high school. Nancy Purdy has developed numerous programs.  Most recently, she developed an AAS and certificate program with the NY Wine and Culinary Center which resulted in 55 new students to the college.  Additionally, Nancy was instrumental in the development of the first two-year program in Viticulture and Wine Technology in New York State. The program attracted 32 new students and $3.3million dollars in state aid for the construction of a Viticulture Center. Additionally, Nancy was instrumental in the development of the FLCC Victor Campus Center, an updated biology lab at the Wayne County Campus Center, and a number of construction projects on the main campus center.  She specified and implemented the room scheduling software fo event and classroom utilization. Nancy Purdy is a two time Athena Award nominee.  She was awarded the Woman of Distinction Award in Education and SUNY Chancellor's Award in Professional Service.
